Reading "The Wounded Healer" by Henri J. M. Nouwen
I think there are clergy world round that if they were required to follow the principles in Nouwen's book of entering the suffering with the hurting, they probably would look for a different job.
God has blessed Grace Point with pastors who live out their life in the lives of others. Pray for your pastors as they take on the pain of many. As we are the church, we must also take on the pain with those God entrusts to us. In the suffering, we have opportunity to become the people God chooses to spend eternity with.
