"I may have sinned yesterday. Not sure. Might need a priest. Not sure." ~priest

I been reading from the Holy Bible.  Great title for a spell binding book.  I digitally thumbed over to the 14th chapter of the book of Romans.

It is written by a fearless man name Paul.  He was a scholar and a tent maker.  I find that interesting.  Consider being one in the top 5% of your class and Harvard bound.  You choose as a career to make tents.  How can that be?

It seems Paul's career was interrupted.  He discovered or had thrust upon him a love for Jesus.  Remember he was the one that God zapped with a bolt of lightening as he headed to behead some Christians?  He was blind long enough to really see God and his life was never the same.

Paul tells us that there was a time in history when many of the mysteries of God were hidden and now we live in an enlightened time.  God has revealed and continues to reveal through His fellowship of the Holy Spirit.  Paul wrote down some of the most significant of his discovered mysteries in the many letters he wrote.  They are available for us to read from the Holy Bible.

I am intrigued with Romans 14.  It is a good lunch time read.  It speaks of freedom in Christ to follow your conscience and acknowledges that we may all think differently on issues.  It speaks of our differences as being ok.  We aren't required to be the same and we should be tolerant of others.  We are to encourage others that they might enjoy a loving relationship with the Father.

Paul says it like this....

"Now the God of patience and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." ~Paul

Fresh Connection is a gathering of people who desire an encouraging relationship.  We don't believe all the same stuff.  We just have a desire to live a life that contributes in a positive way to the world.  Somewhere in the mix I believe Jesus will authenticate His presence.
