God created man to be God-like. How are your doing at it?

God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
      reflecting our nature ... 

 

God commands: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!

 

Recently, I and a number of people were dialoging on Facebook about the issue of abundance and the question was raised by TJ of Florida, "Does God want us to live an abundant life."  It is a very intriguing question, because from observation it seems most people struggle.  It seems struggling for many is contrary to their idea of leading an abundant life.  I thought I had moved on in my thoughts about abundance only to discover in the 1st book and 1st chapter of Genesis, God commands four things.

 

The first of these four commandments is to "PROSPER!".  It would seem if our life is to be described as abundant, prosperity will be a component of it.  Also, reproducing, filling the earth and taking charge is commanded by God.  He didn't ask.  He commanded.  Interesting...
